Ex Rental Raleigh 'Talus' Kid's MTB

2018 season. These bikes have had limited use and are in great condition for their age, with only a few minor, cosmetic scuffs, here and there.  We have had nothing but great feedback from hire customers using these great little hardtail mountain bikes.

The Raleigh Talus is a boys, 24” wheeled, hardtail mountain bike. Built on a 13” 6061 alloy hydroformed frame providing great strength yet, coupled with lightness for ease of riding when the going gets bumpy! 

Tough, durable and agile, the Talus allows your youngster to ride off-road yet, pleasing to ride on the flats for both street and rural adventures, with good friends! The front suspension fork smooths out the path ahead taking the strains and stresses away from the bike’s frame and the rider’s wrists.

Full Shimano transmission will improve your youngster’s riding experience, so the bike and the rider can work in harmony to adjust and adapted to the path ahead. The Talus is equipped with an 18-speed gearset and Shimano RevoShifters, allowing the rider to make those quick and snappy gear changes. Changing gear is effortless, as your child can toggle between the gears without removing their hands from the handlebars; focusing on the ride ahead. For taking on the ascents, descents and riding the flats the Eva offers an ample gearing ratio to allow your youngster to ride without limits!

Strong and durable aluminium v-brakes provide safe and effective stopping power, no matter the conditions. The front brake modulator monitors the force that is applied on the leaver to control the brake pad pressure on the rim. Equipped with a crank guard and a derailleur guard ensure that your youngster is protected from the bike’s components, as well as providing protection to offer smooth operation at all times.

Equipped with junior specific components, the Talus provides a safe riding geometry to ensure the bikes controls are within easy reach. Featuring lower rise handlebars provides a riding position so that your child is more aware of their surroundings and provided with a height adjustable aluminium stem to support your child’s growth. The bars are finished off with soft dual compound grips offering a supportive grip. The Talus provides the best comfort possible, giving your youngster the confidence to ride and to ride with a smile.
