Service and Repair FAQ's

How much does a basic bike service cost?

£50. Our BRONZE SERVICE, covers: brake and gear adjustment, lubrication of cables, and wheel straightening.

Should I book a BRONZE service or a SILVER service?

If your bike only requires a adjustment of the brakes and grears + wheel straightening, then a BRONZE service will do. If replacement parts are required and/or there are problems with the headset (the thing that holds the handlebars on) or problems with the bottom bracket (the thing that turns through the middle of the bottom of the bike), or problems with the cones in the wheel hubs (the things that stop the wheels from wobbling around) then you will need a SILVER SERVICE.

If I book a BRONZE or SILVER service do I have to pay for any parts?

Yes. If parts are required, the price of the parts will be charged separately.

How is the SILVER SERVICE+ different to the SILVER SERVICE?

SILVER SERVICE+ includes: brake bleeding and/or installing any of the following: Tubeless tyres, Chain, Cassette, Cranks/Chainset, Bottom Bracket, Headset, Forks, Derailleurs and Brakes

How is the GOLD SERVICE different to the SILVER SERVICE+?

We go in deeper! This service removes all major components where possible and they are cleaned, lubricated and reassembled (excluding suspension forks and dropper posts - see Gold Service+) with new bearings and inner and outer cables throughout. Also included: Software updates (Shimano Di2).

How is the GOLD SERVICE+ different to the GOLD SERVICE?

The GOLD SERVICE+ includes replacement of barings in suspension linkages.

Can I just get my brakes adjusted so that they work?
